Can I recieve my pell grant award money for one semster instead of it being split into 2 semesters?

Question:I graduate in December and the money will be of no use to me in the spring, Does anyone know if I can have the total amount of my Pell grant put towards my fall semester?

Answers:
No. The federal government mandates that your Pell Grant must be disbursed at the beginning of each enrollment period. So, 1/2 of your award will go towards fall charges and the second 1/2 will go towards spring charges.
I don't think that is possible. Ask your financial aid officer at your school though. If it's possible they can request it.
talk to you financial aid office at your school...ill have that problem in a couple years... i will need an extra semester ...lemme know if you can do that...
of course i don't know exactly what your school's rules are, but i dont think so. Even my loan which i accepted for my first summer session was split into two, even though i wasn't taking any classes the next summer session! I think especially since its a grant the school awards you according to your academic financial needs so they probably won't lump it together.
