Sophmore in high school thinking about college?
Question:well i am going to be a sophmore in high school this year and today the sophmore class go a letter in the mail about how this is the year that we need to start thinking about college. well my question is isent this a little early? i mean i still got three whole years of high school left! when do you think is a good age to start thinking about college?

well actually it's a good thing because how you do in your junior and senior year are MOST important. but also take a lot of difficult AP courses in your next 3 years. very important colleges LOVE extra curriculum activities and they LOVE it when you challenge yourself with difficult courses. i started to think about college my junior year. i messed up badly freshman year and because of that it was hard to pull up. i tried to get as many A's as i could and yet i still only finished with a 3.4GPA out of 4. and i couldn't go to NYU because of my stupid highschool freshman year . don't make the same mistakes.
I agree w/ the 1st poster. I waited until the end of my junior year & I was a little screwed. I wound up at JC for 2 yrs before transferring to university.
You don't need to know your major, but you need a plan.
hey thats cool im gonna be a sophmore to this year. i really messed up my freshmen year. im gonna try to get my grades up this year. no its not a little early just dont worry about it so much.
