How many credits do you need to be considered a Junior in high school? (Texas)?

Answers:
In order to be a junior you have to have at least 10 credits by the end of your sophmore year - otherwise even if you are in junior classes you will still be considered a sophmore. However, the meet No Child Left Behind (NCLB) legislation this may soon be changing (or it is possible has changed). See http://www.tea.state.tx.us/rules/tac/cha... for some information that may help you and/or you can contact that Texas Education Agency. Their website is http://www.tea.state.tx.us/

Good Luck!
i dont think it matters as long as you have all you need by the time you graduate, mabye like 18-20 creds seems resonable.

oh and thats how many AFTER you graduate your junior year before would be like 14 -17 before you get the creds fot the year
