Help me make this decision?
Question:I'm at the best school in my city academically.and it is extremely hard...would it be better to stay here and average 80+ in the academic courses?...or go to an easier school...and average 85+ in their academic courses.because the universities dont ook at ur school
Answers:
There is no guarantee that you will get 85+ at another school. The shift and change in your school and change in friends would take its toll on you.
If you switched and didn't do as well and switched back it would not look that great on your record.
I would say that you need to make the university look at who you are academically. A grade is a grade is a grade no matter what type of school you are in.
I'm not sure what grade you are in but as long as the school is following the provincial guidelines then you should be okay.
stay
for college entrance, i think it is better to be the big fish in a little pond, than a little fish in a big pond
Stay there and get up into the 85+. Hard word is the foundation for future success. Good luck!
being hard for a school to go on means they will be the best all the time and also the policies do change, which might happen, then your current school will be at the top chart and the most refered school in the city. I would say STAY. DON'T MOVE.
Go where you feel you will learn from the best teachers and be challenged the most.
If the colleges you are looking at don't pay much attention to your school, then I would definently change and get a better GPA. That would be the safest decision.
alright guys, the plan is coming together tonight. Onset at 22:04CST. Remember, diversion, reassembly at site, target assault and recovery, diversion, and unit dispersal. Meet at the spot at the designated time. Remember proper disposal and fragmentation.
I believe that it's best to be da best in U'r skool instead of not so good in a good school!!
Or even beta would B to go 2 a school dats in between!!
Easier schools and tough schools are really not that much different. I say, go to the easier one and learn your lessons well... do extra credit work whenever possible, and keep up the learning discipline and your love of learning by doing your own independent studies.
You are correct that universities want to see not just GPA, but how well you handle your choices... If you feel your GPA will be better at an "easier" school, why on earth would you keep beating your head at the tough one?
Learning opportunities are everywhere, not just at "tough academic" schools. There is no end to the learning you can accomplish on your own time.
Go where you can shine the brightest.
Don't give up.
It's better to be in a school that is challenging than to take the easy way out and go to a school that doesn't take you to your full potential.
You can do it!
It is much better to stay and have the opportunity to be challenged at the better school than to run to the easier school. You just might learn more.
