I am thinking about double major or a minor, what should I pair with biomedical sciences?

Question:I am confused, i want to do something more then just the required for med school. Everyone majors in biomedical science and I wanted to have something else that would make me stand out from the crowd when i apply for medical school.

Answers:
You could do a healthy psychology minor.
However, there's a reason why many people get a biology or biomedical degree without another major or minor-- because those degrees are very difficult! Even if you're a great student, that major is challenging and time demanding. It may be best to have a single major. Once you find a school with a good biomedical science program, are accepted, and get a counselor in your program, I would talk to them about it and see what their recommendations would be. Even talk to your current teachers, counselor, or even doctor when you go for a physical. I'm sure they could help you.
It's good that you're thinking about the future. Just make sure you don't bust your butt for nothing.
