Academic dress regulations?

Question:I just graduated (hooray!) from a bachellor's degree program (BSc), but I'm going to another university to do a second bachellor's (a BA, don't ask why). I am required to wear academic dress for matriculation, formals etc. Do I get to wear a postgraduate gown with hood, due to my previous degree, or an undergraduate gown, due to my status at the new university?

Thanks!

Answers:
Only an undergraduate gown. A post graduate degree is just that, a MA/MS or PhD, MD, Ed.D, JD

Hi Andros,

You normally wear the robes apertaining to your degree. In your case, a BSc. You are not entitled to wear Masters robes as you do not hold that degree. You are not a post-graduate, you are a graduate.

Hope this helps

Good luck.
