If SOME person does cheating in university exams by asking some answer from other student .see details.?
Question:If 'some' person does cheating in university exams by asking answer from the other student sitting next to him for exam.or by having written material with him...and GETS CAUGHT BY INVIGILATOR...
This kind of things are handeled as criminal cases or civil cases in INDIA?
What are punishment decided for such people and such deeds in Indian law enforcement system?
I am asking in general for all universities of India.

I think cheating comes under criminal act.BUT IF THE STUDENT AND INVIGILATOR DONT SHOUT AT EACH OTERH IN MOST CASES THEY ARE BARRED FROM WRITING THAT EXAM.In some cases they may be barred for two or three yeas.Many universities dont give very drastic punshment because a young man's future is at stake.Their aim is to correct and not ruin him.
Dont you ever think of such negative acts.If you come to India read well and do well.
What are you *** crazy? In India they'll probably rip your nuts off for something like this.
Im not saying any more because they're probably tracking this right now. This is insanity.
Or wait, did you mean the University of Indiana?? Oh boy do I feel silly, oh well at that school the Professor will just meerly punch you in the face.

well it depends from case 2 case...if u r caught cheatin from some oder examinee den u can alwys make any excuse or if u gutts u can deny even.but if u r caught wid some material den it depends from coll 2 coll.if coll authorities r some wat in favour of students den u wont b in much of prob.u ll jus b fined, dats it... bt no coll is severe dat it takes d matter 2 police...u sit bak n relax.bt it dosent mean dat u cheat..lol
