I am n my 2nd to last year in high school and I want to become a model because I love fashion.?
Question:the only thing wrong is that I go to a school for science and people say the fashion industry is so broad so thererfore its better to be a doctor.The only question now can I become a model and doctor and can i become a model right after i graduate from hs wats the proceedures

Becoming a model is so hard and so expensive. You have to pay a photographer to make you a portfolio that you have to pay to receive then you have to pay agencies to submit your portfolio. Plus there is so much competition now because so many girls want to be models. Also a lot of the agencies or photographers who promise to make you famous run a high chance of scmming you and taking you money. Be careful but I wouldn't sugguest it at all
Unfortunatley, good connections are vital to becoming a model. You hear all sorts of stories about people being discovered, but it's just not likely. Models are lucky to be called for one or two jobs a month. Chances are not good that you'll be scouted, or signed to a top agency right away...or at all. You have to develop a portofolio and experience first (often unpaid). Also, if you're looking to become a doctor your internships and residencies will suck every spare minute. Models and doctors both have to be on call...you're going to have to decide which one is more important.
if you love fashion, shouldn't a designer be a better career option?
well, first of all, don't listen to the people who are telling you what to do with your life. you should do what makes you happy and fits you best.
i'm not sure what the procedure would be for becoming a model (other than getting on ANTM!) but i DO know that you shouldn'y fall for any agency that tells you they will make you a model after you pay them money because it's a SCAM!! any agency that takes money from you before you work is no good!
