I don't want to waste whole year waiting to get into medical school. Is it too late?

Yes, it was probably too late for MD schools since December...and probably too late for DO schools since February/March. There MAY BE some DO schools still accepting applications...but I seriously, seriously doubt it. It's June! Classes start in a couple of months for medical school. Have you taken the MCAT yet? If not, that's what you should focus on during your time off.
