College question?
Question:This year, i'm a sophomore, i did really well in the first semester, all A's in fact, then I slacked off in the second semester and got all A's and 2 B's.
Next year, i am taking 3 AP classes and my senior year, i'm taking even more. If I get all A's next year and the next, especially in my senior year, would it make up for my bad work this year? (AP classes don't get extra GPA points at my school)
PLEASE HELP
Answers:
I don't know man, 2 B's. I don't know if you'll even be able to get a job out of community college. Seriously, a couple B's wont restrict you from any school. It will have to be made up however in extracurriculars and a decent SAT score if you want to go to a highly selective school. You wont find any trouble getting into your state school if you keep going how you're going. Keep up the good work.
You should be very proud of your grades. You've done very well. Any college you later apply to will see that you have made an effort to take difficult classes and done well in those classes.
Keep it up! =]
I don't think that you should consider getting B's slacking off. I never took AP classes but it sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders and will do good in school next year.
The two B's you got will not significantly lower your average.
