I got a letter from the university?
Question:Your application is now complete and ready for review. (*Please note, that we will need official transcripts in order to transfer academic credit.)
You may call our office and ask to speak to the Officer of the Day and she/he will be able to give you your decision over the phone by tomorrow (Fri. 6/15/07).
I've got this mail from the university. ( I'm applying this univ as a undergraduate transfer student ) What does "(*Please note, that we will need official transcripts in order to transfer academic credit.)" mean? Coz, I already gave them all of my documents included official transcript from the last univ. Why do they say that they will need official transcripts?
One more, I thought if they ask the credits to transfer to their univ, usually when the student already got the admission from the univ that the student wanna go, right? or Am I wrong?
Please, somebody give me the answer for this! :D

Call them and make sure they still have a copy of your official transcript. Also, the transcript you sent them may not have final grades for some of your classes if you sent that transcript during the transfer application period. You need final grades for all classes that you want to transfer credit.
I read the text to mean "In the event you are accepted, we'll need your official transcript to give you academic credits."
Just call tomorrow to get your decision. Ask them if your file is complete or if you are missing any documents. Just be patient and wait, my friend!
perhaps they got lost and you'll have to resubmit them
Or they are not complete and official. Have the first school send them directly, if you can.
For one, it looks like that's an automated message, which means that the part about the transcript may just be a general reminder, not a message directed specifically at your application itself.
There's a chance they may not have received the transcript. It happens a lot. Also, they may need multiple copies.
As for transfer of credits, they don't ask you, you have to petition to them to accept your credits from your last school. Admission into a school doesn't mean that every class you took at the previous school will count towards credit. On the contrary, in some cases when people transfer their new school is picky about allowing transfer credits. Sometimes people get set back a semester because so few credits were accepted.
If you sent your transcripts some time ago, they may be asking to see your FINAL transcript with last semester's grades. Call them tommorrow to double check, and send whatever they need. It shouldn't be a major problem.
