Answers:
stay away from tv , music and be hard on urself!
Oh man I hate revision. But last yr for my GCSE's (revision for my AS's kinda went down the pan) I jus shut meself in me room, imagined that's what all my mates would be doing too and got cracking. I did like little card things with all info on and then got me mam to ask me stuff off em to make sure i remembered.
Good luck neway :-)
Be more specific in what you're revising. Find out which areas you're unsure about, and do one area at a time, and take breaks inbetween. Don't revise on things you're sure you know already unless you have spare time, or you'll just get bored straight away.
When I revise I:
Be organised- Revise in a tidy atmosphere, and in proper clothes (i.e. No scruffy stuff)
Don't have the tv or radio on, but try to revise near an open window (and keep looking out of it sometimes to adjust your eyes!).
Always have a bottle of water near you, and stop for regular short breaks.
All of the stuff works for me!
Good luck!
Oh, nd btw, you should write/copy stuff down when revising (According to my chemistry teacher!)
Do a little at a time - do ten minutes and then give yourself a 15min break. You can achieve a lot with an intensive 10 mins but almost nothing with an hour of looking out the window!
Rather than reading and rereading try pretending to be the teacher and explain what you are revising. It might mean a bit of talking to yourself but it might help keep your interest.
Good luck with your exams.
