Any ways to improving writing skills, difficult learning?

Question:I'd like to write and not have someone proof for me because I have poor writing skills. I have a difficult time learning. It also takes a great deal of time to write.

Answers:
My daughter has a real rough time. Here is what I have her do.

1 Write your paragraph(s)
2 Break each sentence down and number them on a separate sheet of paper. Kind of like if your teacher had you copy sentences off a black board
3 Proof read your sentences and make the corections.
4 Write the corrected sentences down into paragraph form for your final copy.

I know it sounds like a lot, but it really helps.
Good luck.

Use Microsoft Word and use the grammar and spell check. After that, just look at it carefully and see what looks right. Writing is writing and the fact that you want to write shows a lot. Keep practicing because good writers aren't born they're made.
The best tool I ever found was a text to speech engine. It's shareware or freeware. You cut and paste your copy and it speaks it back to you and you quickly find the obvioius errors and start to rework them.

Also cease using the common. One editor who helped me a lot said it is better NOT to use them at all than to use them incorrectly.

We have a tendency to put a comma where we think a PAUSE should go and that is NOT always correct.
