What does PS mean ,which we use at the end of letters??

Answers:
post-script..."post" as in after, opposite of "pre" (before)
Here's what someone else answered before with this same question...
P.S.: Means "Post Scriptum". It's in Latin and means "Written After". This means that the P.S. was written on a later time that the rest of the letter. Some time ago, letters took months to arrive from one place to another, so you had to think very well what you wanted to say; but perhaps in a letter of 10 pages, something happend between the time you wrote the first and last line, so you add a P.S. to the letter.
In spanish is used "P.D." that means "Post Data", "After the date"(of the letter.)
"Post Script" For all you english speaker ignorants! is a document format, nothing to do with letters.
Postal script.
Post Script;something you want to add before sealing the envelope and after the body of the letter is written.

post script

post means after
script means to write

there for...it means after you write (your letter).
PS stands for Post Script. Suppose after writing a letter you remember something which you want to add.then you use PS. You can add this at the end of the letter mentioning as PS: This gives a nice look as compared to cutting it and rewriting.
post script, which roughly translated means after writing so an after thought once the letter had been written and obviously in the days before word processors after thoughts were just added to the end of a letter
post means after as in post mortem meaning an examination after death and the latin verb scribo scribere scripsi scriptum gives us scribe meaning a writer, script and scriptures are what they write
the Oxford English Dictionary will trace the etymology of a word from greek through latin and old french into english
latin verbs are always presented in these four parts;in this case scribo means i write, scribere is the infinitive corresponding to the english 'to write'(never split an infinitive -'to boldly go' star trek;the origninal series) scripsi means i hav e written and scriptum is called the supine
Post Scriptum - for Details , read above posts , Cheers
PS means post script. Thanks for the 2 points.
It means postscript. Post- meaning "after," and -script meaning "writing." It designates additional information not nessicarily needed to be included in the main body of the letter, such as "PS: Aunt Lorie is doing fine now, thanks for the prayers!," after a letter about. . . borrowing money from your grandmother?
