Describe a lemon sherbet...?
Question:Can you describe a lemon sherbet according to each of the 5 senses; ie. how it looks, smells, tastes, sounds, feels. I won't explain the details for this odd question but it's part of an English lesson I'm going to be teaching. For sound, apart from 'crunching' when you bite it, what word could be used to describe that sound when a hard sweet hits your teeth as you move it around in your mouth? (hope that makes sense!)

tastes - deliciously tangy
sounds - cool and breezy
feels - refreshing
Looks yellowy.
Smells lemony.
Tastes sherberty, sort of fizzy.
Sounds crackly.
Feels sinful, too much sugar.

sour tasting powdered texture which smells like Vim. have you ever smelt Vim, it smells like lemon sherbert. wot else u wana know. hmmm it looks like handy andy dried up and hang on the line. it taste like dishwashing liquid (lemon flavoured one). SOunds?? U rite in your heard. it sounds like a dog licking its balls. it feels like Elizabeth Anne baby Powder...or cocaine. hope u can use this for your english lesson...LOSER!
Lemon sherbet sweet
Looks, almost oval with small bumps along the side
smell, lemon with a hint of sherbet that makes you cough if you breath to hard
Taste, sour,sweet and then the sherbet explodes in your mouth
Sounds, solid, at first but then when it is broken small splinters of glass
Feels, like it is going to take ages to eat this sweet but before you know it your looking for the next one
Smell tribble Tastes bitter Sounds yuck Feels rough
I hate lemons and oranges and any citrus fruit.
Hmm, the sound it makes when it hits your teeth is definitely tricky. Best I can do is that it 'clunks' or 'tonks' (no, I'm not sure the latter is a word!).
Think I'm getting a bit synaesthesic - I keep thinking of the smell as fizzy and the feel as lemony.
a lemon sherbet is a lemonade. haven't you ever drank lemonade? just squeeze one lemon in a glass of water and ad some sugar. it's very refreshing, try it!
