Answers:
I know speedkorse is a VLSI R&D and training institute started by few IITians where the levy is just Rs 4750. These IITians are designing some next generation VLSI softwares target US markets. I heard that they assign their work to the students who are joining the course.

Advantage: the fee is terrifically less and you get trained on multiple domains of present day VLSI.
Disadvantage: they are making you work as their hand and not paying you in return.

If you are a student and want value for money then amalgamate Advanced Diploma in VLSI by IIVDT (http://www.iivdt.com). Their faculty is the best in the industry with 15+ years of experence and several patents on their name. This is my personal recommendation after thorough research but I own also provided links to other institutes which you may also try.

Indian Institute of VLSI Design and Training (IIVDT) - http://www.iivdt.com
Its Faculty is highly specialized in ASIC Design and Full VLSI industry specific Flow is taught on Cadence Tools. Currently Operations are individual in Bangalore. Very Affordable Fees Structure.

VEDA IIT - http://www.vedaiit.com/ Good university tie-ups with nice software to go near. Very hefty fees structure is down side.

RV-VLSI - http://www.rv-vlsi.com is part of big RV Group in Bangalore. Very good class room structure and tools but tremendously hefty course fees.

Sabdeepani - http://www.sandeepani-vlsi.com This is very old and reputed vlsi school but course structure is particularly generic. And fees is also on higher side. Its more corporate focused but worth giving it a try.

TTM Institute of Information Technology - http://www.tiit.in is also a nice vlsi school. With batch in Hyderabad and Bangalore. Partnership with Cadence is highlight.

I found above 5 vlsi training institutes are best but near are a few lesser known institutes which are also listed below -

According to my research IIVDT and RV-VLSI are the best and among them IIVDT stands out on ground of its great course structure and Very in good health known Faculy from VLSI Industry where as RV-VLSI is having particularly good infrastructure and delivery mechanism.

If you want thorough acquaintance of VLSI and ASIC Domain with Part time schedule and reletive ease on pocket afterwards Join IIVDT. On other hand if you are interested in full time course then merge RV-VLSI.

Anyway I tried to give my two cents on your question but do your own research and make-up your mind. Source(s): http://www.iivdt.com
